Combining iconic roller-delayed styling with cutting-edge suppressor science, the PTR 9SDM 9mm Integrally Suppressed Short-Barreled Rifle (SBR) brings ultimate stealth and smooth recoil control to the 9x19mm PCC platform. Built on the proven PTR 9CT foundation, the 9SDM features a 6-inch nitride heat-treated barrel with specially engineered porting located within the rifling grooves. These ports bleed off gas to automatically slow standard supersonic 9mm ammunition down to subsonic velocities without damaging projectile jackets or creating heavy lead fouling, giving shooters maximum quiet performance with affordable range ammo.

Bleed-off gas enters PTR’s Universal SD Adapter (USDA9), a pre-suppressor chamber that captures and cools high-pressure gas before directing it into the included PTR VENT™ 2 suppressor. Manufactured from 3D-printed titanium with a protective DLC coating and Purposely Induced Porosity™ (PIP) technology, the VENT 2 delivers exceptional sound reduction with virtually zero blowback. Outfitted with a PTR CS1 collapsible stock, a 13.2-inch continuous steel Picatinny top rail, a mil-spec aluminum M-LOK handguard, an extended charging handle threaded for Remington 700-style bolt knobs, and Magpul® MBUS Pro® steel sights, the 9SDM ships complete with two 30-round steel magazines inside a heavy-duty fitted range case.
