Delivering iconic roller-delayed performance in an ultra-compact integrally suppressed host configuration, the PTR 9SDM 9mm Short-Barreled Rifle (SBR) brings advanced sound mitigation and minimal footprint to the PCC shooting world. Built on the proven PTR 9CT receiver architecture, the 9SDM features a 6-inch nitride heat-treated barrel with precision porting machined directly into the rifling grooves. These ports bleed off high-pressure gas to automatically slow standard supersonic 9mm target ammunition down to subsonic velocities, preventing bullet jacket separation, reducing lead fouling, and delivering remarkably quiet firing schedules without requiring specialty heavy ammo.

Redirected gas flows into PTR’s Universal SD Adapter (USDA9), a pre-suppressor expansion chamber designed to capture and cool combustion gases before they enter a mounted suppressor. For maximum modularity, the USDA natively supports both HUB Alpha (1.125-28) and HUB Bravo thread patterns for seamless integration with a wide variety of aftermarket silencers. Outfitted with a PTR CS1 collapsible stock that shrinks the overall rifle length down to just 17.125 inches collapsed, a 13.2-inch continuous steel Picatinny top rail, a mil-spec M-LOK aluminum handguard, an extended charging handle threaded for Remington 700-pattern knobs, and Magpul® MBUS Pro® steel sights, the 9SDM comes complete with two 30-round steel magazines in a fitted heavy-duty range case.
