While competing aftermarket triggers rely on electrical discharge machining (EDM) that leaves a rough 32 RMS surface, CMC applies a proprietary machining technique to critical sear surfaces that yields an astonishing mirror-like 1–2 RMS finish. This eliminates friction and drag, producing a glass-smooth single-stage break at exactly 3.5 pounds with zero perceptible pre-travel creep.
