Description
Thunder Beast SPIRO-SR (v2) .243 / 6mm Haynes 282 Haynes 282 Suppressor - SR Mount
Setting a new benchmark in low-back-pressure suppressor technology, the Thunder Beast Arms Corporation (TBAC) SPIRO-SR (v2) .243 / 6mm Suppressor is engineered specifically for hard-use gas-gun platforms operating in demanding environments. Purpose-built from Haynes 282—a nickel-chromium-cobalt superalloy that significantly exceeds the strength and thermal tolerance of traditional Inconel 718—the SPIRO solves the traditional compromise between low back-pressure and sound suppression. Developed using TBAC's proprietary Back Pressure Measurement Method, it increases gas flow by only ~50% over a bare muzzle, drastically reducing blowback, toxic gas exposure, and cyclic rate increases while maintaining exceptional sound mitigation at both the muzzle and shooter's ear.
Bored for 6mm / .243 cartridges, the SPIRO offers exceptional cross-platform flexibility, delivering imperceptible acoustic performance differences when deployed on 5.56 NATO hosts. Built for extreme duty, it is full-auto rated and capable of surviving over 20 full SOCOM SURG cycles on an 8-inch barrel—double the lifespan of standard hard-use suppressors. Utilizing TBAC's Secondary Retention v2 (SR v2) quick-attach/detach mounting system, the SPIRO-SR adds just 5.3 inches to overall rifle length while cutting felt recoil by approximately 40%, delivering unmatched control, comfort, and precision shot after shot.
Features
Ultra-Low Back-Pressure Architecture:
Increases gas flow by only ~50% over a bare muzzle—three times less than conventional suppressors—to minimize blowback, reduce internal component wear, and prevent weapon overspeed.
Haynes 282 Superalloy Construction:
Machined from nickel-chromium-cobalt superalloy for extreme thermal resistance and structural durability that far outlasts standard Inconel 718 suppressors.
Secondary Retention v2 (SR v2) Mount:
Quick-attach/detach system provides secondary retention and zero-shift alignment during hard-use firing schedules and intense thermal expansion cycles.
SOCOM SURG Extreme-Duty Rating:
Survives 20+ full SOCOM SURG firing cycles on an 8" barrel, making it one of the most durable full-auto-rated 6mm/5.56 suppressors on the market.
40% Recoil Mitigation:
Internal gas vectoring reduces felt recoil by approximately 40% compared to a bare muzzle for rapid, flat-shooting target re-engagement.
Compact 5.3" Added Footprint:
Adds only 5.3 inches to overall weapon length, maintaining agility and compact handling on short-barreled carbines and precision rifles.
6mm / .243 Multi-Caliber Optimization:
Optimized for 6mm, .243, and 5.56 NATO/.223 Rem platforms with peak shooter-ear acoustic levels kept down to a comfortable 136–138 dBA.
