SilencerCo Salvo 12k Shotgun Suppressor - 8" Black

The Salvo 12 is the first and only commercially manufactured 12 gauge silencer. It is available in two models: the Salvo 12 (ships in 12” configuration), and the Salvo 12K (ships in 8” configuration). Both models are configurable: Salvo 12 is configurable to 12″, 10″, 8″ and 6″; Salvo 12K is configurable to 8″ and 6″. It’s an unprecedented and innovative design that has yet to be duplicated due to the immense engineering challenges associated with suppressing a shotgun. It effectively reduces the sound signature of a wide variety of wadded 2 ¾- and 3-inch 12-gauge shells from a variety of different 12-gauge hosts, with the added benefit of significantly reduced recoil impulse. 

The Salvo 12 impresses users through its groundbreaking modular design: a series of individual two-inch baffle sections. These baffle sections are aligned using two stainless steel guide rods that run the length of the entire suppressor and thread into both the front and back retaining plates. The bore of the suppressor is made up of nine guide rods which allow gas and pressure to dissipate through each baffle section. The use of rods also facilitates the disassembly and resizing of the Salvo 12, enabling it to be configured to fit the needs of the end user by purchasing an additional rod kit. 

The aesthetics of the Salvo 12 pay homage to the eccentric design of its cousin the Osprey, solidifying the design cue as one distinct to SilencerCo.
