Built around a solid stainless steel frame finished in dark Nitron®, this competition-ready pistol combines exceptional weight distribution with modern red dot compatibility. At its mechanical core is a heavy 5-inch carbon steel bull barrel paired with a Nitron XSeries SIG-LOC™ optic-ready slide, designed to minimize muzzle flip, soften recoil impulse, and ensure flat-tracking accuracy under rapid fire.

The P226-XFIVE NIGHTMARE features SIG's single-action-only (SAO) AX3 flat trigger system, allowing shooters to fine-tune pull characteristics for a custom, glass-like break. Custom Black Hogue G10 Nightmare grip panels are aggressively textured for a non-slip grip and pair seamlessly with an integrated alloy magwell for high-speed reloads. Accentuated by corrosion-resistant E-Nickel controls that provide striking visual contrast, the pistol comes complete with an improved XSeries extended slide catch, a fiber optic front sight, a fully adjustable rear target sight across a 6.8-inch sight radius, an M1913 Picatinny accessory rail, and three 20-round steel magazines with aluminum floorplates.
