Description

Rugged Obsidian9 with ADAPT™ Modular Technology - Black

The Obsidian9 is optimized for 9mm for additional suppression while staying light and compact. Our ADAPT™ Module gives you 2 lengths in one suppressor, for maximum suppression or weight/length savings. With a diameter of 1.37″ the Obsidian9 is compatible with pistol suppressor sights, making it perfect for pistols or sub-guns. Obsidian9 baffles are machined from 17-4 Stainless Steel barstock, with three indexing tabs for proper alignment. With serviceability in mind the Obsidian baffles create a gas seal that virtually eliminates carbon build up between the baffles and tube.

    Tested it Against Omega 9K

Posted by Stamp It To Me BATFE on 18th Feb 2020

Frankly expected Omega to be winner in side by side using 48 and P365XL. Obsidian weighs .9 oz more than Omega in full config & is quieter. It is slightly slimmer than Omega so easier to sight. In shorter config, Obsidian & Omega sound about the same which was a surprise. Then tested Obsidian on GL17 & P365's. The GLs with their white rimmed sights are easier to use with either than the green sighted Sigs. None of the tested guns had suppressor height sights. Used Fiocchi 115 & Aguila 124. Very quiet for non-sub-sonic ammo. So glad I got the Obsidian. It wasn't an indulgence; it was a gladly arrived addition to the hearing protection family.

    Selectability Sold Me, solid rep

Waiting to try all the stuff I want to run it on. The sooner you buy and apply, the sooner you'll get one. Maybe some of the third parties will have all the barrels I want by the time it comes in.
