At its mechanical core is a reliable gas-operated semi-automatic operating system anchored within a receiver CNC-machined from hardened T6 7075 aluminum. Chambered to cycle both standard 2¾-inch and heavy 3-inch magnum loads, the Elite feeds reliably from detachable 5-round and 10-round stick magazines as well as high-capacity 20- and 30-round drum systems. The 11-inch 4140 steel barrel features a smooth, hard-chrome-lined bore threaded for standard Benelli Mobil-pattern choke tubes to deliver precise pattern control. Driven by a friction-reducing coated bolt assembly with a positive spring-assisted ejector, and commanded by an advanced flat-blade trigger, the Elite delivers rapid, flat-shooting split times under high-stress courses of fire.

Specifications

AMMO RECOMENDATION: Orthos Arms recommends any brand ammo as long as it has a 1250 FPS or higher. This is still very light target ammo but this is the recommendation for guaranteed consistent cycling.

BREAK IN PERIOD: 50 ROUNDS OF HIGH BRASS HEAVY LOADS (1300 FPS OR HIGHER) When you receive your shotgun there will be oil on it, this is factory manufacturing oil and not a true gun oil. We recommend cleaning the SMX and applying a reputable gun oil. We then recommend that you put 50 rounds of heavy, high brass shotgun ammunition through your gun for the break in period. This will ensure your shotgun is working smoothly and will cycle all kinds of loads from light to heavy.
