This seamless monolithic construction eliminates optic rail flex while delivering an ultra-rigid platform with an integrated 11.5-inch M-LOK handguard, a continuous 1913 Picatinny top rail, and quick-disconnect barrel swapping capabilities via dual locking bolts.

Driven by a short-stroke gas piston operating system, the 12-inch chrome-lined barrel features a two-position adjustable gas plug tuned for effortless transitions between suppressed and unsuppressed firing. The rifle is anchored by the military-proven LMT MARS-L (Modular Ambidextrous Rifle System) lower receiver, featuring true ambidextrous controls for safety, magazine release, bolt catch, and bolt release. Outfitted with LMT’s AXLE two-stage trigger, an enhanced piston bolt carrier group, an ambidextrous charging handle, and the comfortable SOPMOD stock, the MARS-L Shovelnose represents the apex of piston-driven SBR engineering.
