Reimagining an iconic Old West format for 21st-century utility, the Henry Bear’s Leg Pistol (Model H012GBLX-44) chambered in .44 Magnum / .44 Special brings modern adaptability to the classic Mare’s Leg design. Built with a compact 25.1-inch overall length, this hard-use lever-action pistol is purpose-engineered for truck carry, property management, camp companion roles, and suppressed field setups. Utilizing Henry's signature blued steel receiver and round steel barrel, the Bear's Leg combines heavy-hitting .44 Magnum performance with the fast, tactile cycling of a large loop lever that remains easy to operate even while wearing heavy gloves.

Designed to accommodate modern tactical accessories, the Bear's Leg features a 13.8-inch barrel factory-threaded in 5/8"-24 TPI with a thread protector, high-visibility front and rear fiber optic sights, and a receiver drilled and tapped for optic rails (BB-RSM scope mount compatible). Its black synthetic polymer handguard incorporates integrated M-LOK® mounting slots and a Picatinny accessory rail section for weapon lights and lasers, while a side loading gate allows continuous magazine tube top-offs without interference when running a suppressor. Uniquely structured for custom builds, the Bear's Leg offers a seamless, non-permanent foundation for legal Short-Barreled Rifle (SBR) conversions.
