The MOD1 features the Reliability Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group outfitted with the Forged Stressproof Bolt® crafted from Carpenter 158+ steel, offering up to five times the fatigue life of standard mil-spec bolts. Key internal components are protected by Geissele’s proprietary Nanoweapon® (Picatinny DSL) coating—a diamond-hard finish that rejects carbon, drastically lowers friction, and improves corrosion resistance.
