The Geissele Automatics GFR® MOD1 6MM ARC Recce 18" Rifle in Desert Dirt Color (DDC) delivers precision-grade long-range capability in an agile, small-frame carbine profile. Engineered from the ground up around the 6mm ARC cartridge, the Geissele Freedom Rifle® (GFR) bridges the gap between lightweight maneuverability and high-BC downrange energy without compromising cycling or feeding reliability. Built on GFR billet upper and fully ambidextrous lower receivers, this Recce platform provides duty operators, hunters, and match shooters with exceptional mechanical flow, instincts-first weapon manipulation, and flat-shooting ballistic efficiency.

At the core of the GFR Recce MOD1 is an 18-inch in-house cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined 3-groove barrel with a 1:7.5" twist rate, tuned with Geissele’s Rifle-Length +1 Phased Array® Gas Technology and an Anti-Strike Super Compact Gas Block. Outfitted with a Nanoweapon®-coated GFR Bolt Carrier Group, a 16.5-inch MK16 M-LOK rail with Center Tab indexing, and a HUXWRX Flash Hider QD 6 suppressor mount, this rifle is fully equipped for hard-use environments. A complete Geissele furniture package—including the SBS Buttstock, A17 Reduced Angle Grip, Super Charging Handle (SCH), and Super-42 buffer assembly with an H2 buffer—delivers superior control and recoil management straight out of the box.

Fully Ambidextrous GFR Billet Receiver Set:
Features intuitive dual-sided controls, including a left-side magazine release below the Maritime Bolt Catch and right-side bolt catch/release buttons beneath the ejection port for rapid reloads and malfunction clearances.

16.5" MK16 Center Tab Free-Float Handguard:
Rigid M-LOK handguard features Geissele's Center Tab receiver indexing system to prevent handguard rotation and maintain optic/laser zero under heavy loads.

Suppressor-Ready HUXWRX Muzzle Device:
Factory-installed HUXWRX Flash Hider QD 6 threaded in 5/8x24 TPI allows direct mounting of compatible HUXWRX quick-detach silencers.

Complete Geissele Furniture & Super-42 Buffer:
Equipped with the Geissele SBS Buttstock, A17 Reduced Angle Grip, Super Charging Handle (SCH), and a Super-42 wire spring assembly with an H2 buffer for smooth cycling.
