The AEM2 (Ops Inc 14th model) offers good sound suppression when compared to other “K” style suppressors of a similar size, however it really shines where shorter overall weapon length is desired. It has traditionally been used in CQB roles for the military and SWAT teams. The AEM2 only adds 2.75” to the end of the brake, or approximately 4.25” from the muzzle. Due to the shorter mount length, it can be mounted on barrels as short as 11.5” with a standard low-profile gas block, and 10.5” with certain tapered gas blocks.

B-Mount: This mount is used by the AEM2, AEM3, and AEM4. It requires 2.05″ from the muzzle to the taper for proper mounting. Most of the “newer” models of suppressors have a B-Mount because of how many more mounting options are possible.

All brake-mounted suppressors should have between 7-10 turns for best fitment.
