  • Can be interchanged with third party, Balios Lite, or Aethon lowers

The Balios-lite Gen 2 billet upper and lower receivers were designed with weight savings as the prime objective. Balios-lite Gen 2 is perfect for those who participate in 3-gun, hunting, or any other shooting activity where weight is a concern. This upper receiver will fit any of 2A Armament's AR15 lowers perfectly (Balios, Balios-lite, Balios-lite Gen 2, or Aethon) and will also fit any standard Mil-spec lower from other vendors. The tapered transition under the charging handle prevents associated wear patterns from damaging the finish. We have eliminated the forward assist, and retained the port door cover.

    Looks great with V7 ultra lightweight door!

    This paired with a V7 ultra lightweight door creates a very nice looking slick side. If you get this combo remember to order the door rod without the enlarged end on it.

    Great Fit and Finish!

    I purchased this to match up with an 80% arms lower and the two match up extremely well. it is as advertised very light with strength where it is needed. Could only find two tooling marks on the entire thing and that was in an area on the inside where the bolt carrier group is located. That specific mark would in no way interfere or cause any issues long term regarding wear. This should make for a fantastic lightweight 300 blackout hunting SBR once I get some cerakote camo on it.
