AMMO RECOMENDATION: Orthos recommends any brand ammo with 1250 FPS or higher for guaranteed consistent cycling.

BREAK IN PERIOD: To ensure optimal performance, Orthos advises firing 50 rounds of high brass heavy loads (1300 FPS or higher) during the break-in period. The shotgun ships with factory manufacturing oil, which is not a true gun oil, so cleaning the SMX and applying a reputable gun oil before use is recommended. This break-in process ensures smooth operation and compatibility with light to heavy loads.
