The Gen5 design introduces several performance upgrades, including the highly accurate Glock Marksman Barrel (GMB) with enhanced polygonal rifling and a precision crown for improved accuracy. The pistol also features the Modular Optic System (MOS), allowing shooters to easily mount compatible miniature red dot optics using the included adapter plate.

Built on Glock’s rugged polymer frame, the Gen5 platform removes finger grooves and adds interchangeable backstraps, allowing shooters to customize the grip for improved ergonomics. A flared magwell speeds up reloads, while ambidextrous slide stop levers provide enhanced control for both right- and left-handed shooters.
