The GFE (Glock Frame Extension) is Forward Controls Design’s refined take on the traditional magwell—engineered not just to guide reloads, but to extend the frame for improved ergonomics, control, and retention, especially for shooters with larger hands. Machined from solid 6061 billet aluminum and Type III hardcoat anodized, the GFE delivers a durable, duty‑ready upgrade that feels natural in the hand and integrates seamlessly with Gen 5 Glock frames.

Unlike oversized competition magwells, the GFE focuses on practical grip enhancement. Gen 5 pistols already feature a functional factory flare; the GFE’s opening is only slightly larger, because its true mission is to lengthen the grip, stabilize the hand, and protect the thin edges of the factory magwell. The result is a more confident purchase on the pistol—whether drawing, reloading, or managing recoil.

Designed in collaboration with Killer Innovations, the GFE is based on the proven Velocity magwell architecture and includes both grip‑plug modules for compatibility across full‑size and compact Gen 5 frames. Rounded bottom cutouts pair perfectly with the Forward Controls MFP‑G floor plates for intuitive, positive magazine manipulation.
