Manufactured using additive DMSLS technology (a.k.a. 3-D Printing), the Dillon Rifle Company 5.56 suppressor employs patented Purposely Induced Porosity (PIP), a variable metal foam structure that allows gas and pressure to bleed off in locations and at rates of our choosing.

This enables multiple alternate flow routes for the excess muzzle gases produced by the high-pressure gas of the 5.56x45 cartridge, contributing not only to signature reduction but also aiding in the mitigation of hazards associated with suppressed weapon operation for the shooter.

The internal structures and DMLS technology provide the DRC 5.56 suppressor with an exceptionally high strength-to-weight ratio, ensuring durability without compromising its signature reduction capabilities.
