​2023 Shot Show Trip Report

The team at Bauer Precision recently returned from the annual Shot Show in Las Vegas, and we couldn't be more excited about the new products and industry connections we made during our time at the event. This year's show, which took place from January 16-20, was a great opportunity for us to connect with our suppliers and friends in the industry, and to get a glimpse of the latest and greatest products that will be hitting the market in the coming year.

Our team arrived in Las Vegas on Sunday evening, January 15th, and after a brief walk on the strip near our hotel, we hit the hay to prepare for the busy days ahead. The next day, we had some free time before the rest of our crew arrived, so we took the opportunity to do some sightseeing on the strip. 

On Monday, the 16th, our boss, Mr. Bauer, arrived and we were able to meet up and discuss our game plan for hitting the show floor on Tuesday morning. That evening, we enjoyed a fantastic dinner at the Best Friend Restaurant at the Park MGM. 

Over the next three days, we spent our time on the show floor, visiting with our suppliers and friends in the industry. Each night was filled with unique industry gatherings, from Noveske's Freemont overlooking suite to the Crye Party. We had a lot of good conversations and interesting moments throughout the event. 

We were particularly excited to have spent a significant amount of time speaking with good people from Huxwrx, Surefire, Spiritus Systems, Noveske, B&T Industries, SOLGW, C-products, Thunderbeast, Otter Creek Labs, and many more. A few products that we would like to highlight that are new for 2023 include an unnamed flow-through silencer from C-Products/ Duramag that we will be doing a separate post on, Eotech's new IR laser device (OGL),  new helmet-mounted digital night vision with much-improved latency from Sionyx, new 7.62 offerings from Otter Creek Labs, products from Fusion Thermal, and new silencer offerings across the industry. 

Overall, we had a fantastic time at the 2023 Shot Show and are excited to continue working with our industry partners to bring the latest and greatest products to our customers.
