    The end plate and castle nut are well made and have a very nice fit and finish. I have come to expect only excellence from v7. I replaced the take down and pivot pins along with the end plate and castle nut on my build. The steel mil-spec components weighed 1.7oz The aluminum v7 replacement parts totaled .5oz. Giving me a total weight loss of 1.2oz. Dropping 1.2oz off my total weight was very satisfying and i got a rear sling QD mount in the process!
