Description

Livewire is a more traditional style AR15 receiver, but still unlike anything else out there with looks all its own. Heavily flared mag well, ambidextrous bolt release, a stepped transition between trigger guard and mag well, threaded bolt catch pin, threaded rear takedown pin recess and extremely clean lines all around.

Livewire is made from a forging and it truly sets a new standard in forged lower receivers. Each Livewire is forged into a near final shape with a custom forging tool and the pressure of a 2000 ton press. Post forging, the receiver goes through final machine operations on Sharps Bros.' CNCs. This process reduces both material cost and machine time (so Sharps Bros. can deliver savings to their customers) without hindering their ability to deliver the master-level craftsmanship Sharps Bros. is known for.

    Live wire ambidextrous forged

I have not fired this shit because I'm waiting on a no go gauge for a barrel & upper receiver im putting together. As well as I'm waiting for what's called a readi catch to compliment the ambidextrous bolt release on the receiver Which will give it the functionalities like a Radian What's the benefit of not being a soft metal bullet as well as not having their snooty sales department tell me no spare parts will be sold for my Radian if I need something replaced to send it in but that doesn't work in the real world or if SHTF hits So I kicked the radian to the curb. With the ready catch Only adds one extra part and it is the most simplest way to achieve the same result. So now moving on to the receiver it fits both my centurion upper receiver As well as my Vltor mur upper so well that It's almost as if it was one piece I've never experienced that before in all my buildings so that is very exciting and pleasing It's not so tight that if you turned it upside down it wouldn't fall out does it will it's just so perfectly fitted to wear not even the slightest of wobble is detected. This leaves me with the final thing of the magazine well being flared Obviously that aids in magazine insertion however In addition to that due to such an aggressive way The flare has been performed it makes the depth of the well shorter which will aid in bolt override malfunction Clearing for the same reason that Legend firearms trainer Clint Smith Of his famous facility Thunder Ranch had his areo precision thunder ranch edition branded Lower receiver has a square cut out of the magwell to be able to reach your thumb into the bolt Carrier For ease of manipulation during that Notoriously difficult malfunction clearing.. And finally no large roll marks all business and serious looking is very appealing to me into me so I give this AA plus plus across-the-board
